Most Healthcare Reform proposals will not take affect until 2014. Once the law takes effect on 1/1/2014 here is what will happen:
- Insurance companies will not be able to refuse coverage for pre-existing conditions. Effective immediately, if you've been denied coverage due to a pre-existing condition or you've been without insurance for at least 6 months - you may qualify to buy health insurance.
